1. What is your approach to mental health and wellness?
I believe that mental well-being is deeply intertwined with creativity and the body. My approach is integrated, combining my background in clinical mental health with the wisdom of somatic and expressive arts therapies. I aim to help you connect with your inner resources for growth and healing.
-
2. Who do you work with?
I am dedicated to supporting women and children on their journey toward their highest potential. While I am currently in my graduate program, I have worked extensively in clinical spaces, including inpatient psychiatric units and restorative justice settings. I work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds who are ready to explore healing through creativity.
-
3. What is somatic therapy?
Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach to healing. It is based on the idea that trauma and stress are stored in the body. By using techniques that focus on sensation, movement, and embodied awareness, we can help release stored emotions and facilitate a deeper sense of healing and integration.
-
4. What are expressive arts therapies?
Expressive arts therapies use creative modalities—such as dance, music, writing, and visual art—to help people explore emotions, process experiences, and gain insight. You don't need to be an artist to engage in this work; the focus is on the process of creation, not the final product.

5. Do I need a background in dance or poetry to work with you?
No, absolutely not. My services are for everyone, regardless of your artistic experience. The goal is to use creative expression as a tool for self-discovery and healing, not as a performance.
