caress me slowly. 

run down me like dew on a leaf - 

after a fresh rain

full fridges and ears that can hear, 

let blessings fall over me like a cloak of threaded gold - 

reflecting the light back to you, 

because of you - 

love me loudly. 

lift me higher 

and higher 

until the stars become my new friends 

and im renamed as sunshine 

i want my body to merge with the cosmos 

weave me into forever 

that they may know me in the constellations 

and see me with every snowfall. 

bring me closer to you, 

wherever you are - 

can i find you hiding in the moss behind rocks no one has seen 

perhaps at the top of a mountain

or in the valley low - 

are you hiding in plain sight - 

did they fail to see you? 

i can find you wherever i am.

remind me how old scars can still create magic - 

breathe deeply into my lungs

veins mirroring the roots 

of every tree that youve placed -
